Founded in 2020, our name, Luma (/ˈluːma/) Film was derived from the concept of luminance and exposure in image and video processing. Embodying subtle elegance– how the nuances of exposure unveil beauty in a photograph. We strongly believe in being open-minded and in cultivating inclusive spaces for couples to feel comfortable in front of the camera. To me, photography is akin to a fresh blank canvas, waiting to be painted. It's given me a space to spew my creativity and love for aesthetics. It also allows me to continuously be inspired, capture and embody the most intimate and valuable experiences held so dearly to others that would’ve otherwise been lost in the moment. Being able to live through and share these moments with other couples is what makes perfecting my art truly enjoyable.

Pursuing videography has given me a sense of purpose and an outlet to express myself by producing meaningful stories with my compositions. In video production, there are both technical rules to follow but also spaces in between where your creative flare will make a significant impact on the final production. I believe that this non-linear relationship between creativity and logic in videography is what makes it an art form that I appreciate and love.
